Commissions are calculated on net subscription revenue. Tiers are reviewed annually. Contact your partner manager for implementation project margin structures.
Common questions
How are commissions calculated and paid?
Commissions are calculated on net monthly subscription revenue (excluding GST/VAT). Year 1 commissions apply for the first 12 months of a client's subscription; ongoing rates apply from month 13 onwards. Payments are processed monthly, typically within 30 days of the billing cycle close, via bank transfer to your nominated account.
Do I need technical knowledge to become a partner?
Not for Referral or Advisory tiers. You need a good understanding of your clients' business needs; our team handles the technical demo and implementation scoping. Consulting Partners who intend to implement NexWave complete a structured certification programme before taking on projects independently.
What industries does NexWave serve?
NexWave serves wholesale distribution, retail, manufacturing, professional services, field services, and equipment hire. If your clients are growing SMEs managing inventory, operations, or service delivery, there is likely a NexWave edition that fits. We operate across New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
What happens if my referral is not ready to buy right away?
Lead attribution is tracked from the moment you submit the referral. If a client you registered converts within 12 months, even if they were not ready initially, your commission is protected. We do not reassign registered leads to other partners.
Can I refer clients in multiple countries?
Yes. NexWave partners can refer clients in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Commissions are paid in the partner's local currency (NZD, AUD, or GBP) regardless of which region the client is in. Multi-region consulting arrangements are available for Platinum partners.
Is there a fee to join the partner programme?
Joining the NexWave Partner Programme is currently free at all tiers. There are no annual fees at Silver tier and no lock-in. You earn when your clients subscribe. Programme terms, including fee structures, may change; partners will be notified in advance of any updates.
